Licences are available at discounted prices to Universities (degree-granting institutions) and their staff and students. If you qualify for University pricing, please purchase using this page and use a University email address.

You should hear from us within one business day of submitting the order, subject to time zones. If not, please contact support@giwebb.com. As soon as payment arrangements have been completed, we will send you a licence ID and instructions for downloading the software.

Prices and payments are in United States dollars.

Every licence includes 12 months' support and free upgrades. Please notify any problems installing or using the software to support@giwebb.com.

Licence Type:

All default licences are for the software to be used on a single computer (including computers with multiple CPUs). There are no restrictions on the number of concurrent users.

Licence costs vary depending upon the operating system (Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 or Linux).

Upgrading to New Releases:

Purchase of a licence entitles you to support and free upgrades for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase. After this time you can upgrade to to a new release for the same product, licensed computer, and licence type at a 50% discount on the list price.

Licensed Computer Name:

The form asks you to name the computer on which the software will be installed (the licensed computer).

On Linux/Solaris systems the computer name is obtained by the command "hostname".
On Windows 2000/XP it appears under the "Computer Name" or "Network Identification" tab of the "System" icon in the Control Panel.
For Windows Vista and Windows 7, click "Start", "Computer", and "Properties" to see the computer name.

The software licence can only be transferred to a different computer within twelve months of the purchase date and only if use of the software on the original computer becomes infeasible, for instance when the licensed computer fails or is taken out of service. We reserve the right to limit these licence transfers to once only.

Email Address:

The email address specifies where we should send the instructions for downloading the software and the licence ID that is needed to activate it. For University licences, please use your University email address.

Unless required by law, we will not divulge your email address to any other person or organization.

Notification of New Releases:

If you answer "yes" to this question, we will send a short email whenever there is a new release of the software that you have purchased. We will never send any advertisements or other material.

Our Policies:

Privacy: Unless required by law or in order to obtain approval of a credit card transaction, we will not provide any information about you, your email address, or your order to any other party.
Software delivery: All software is delivered by download from the internet. Licence IDs and downloading instructions will be sent to the email address specified on the order form, normally within one business day.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds on software purchases. Short-term evaluation licences are available and we strongly suggest that you try the software before you buy it.
