Ten-Day Evaluation Licence

G. I. Webb & Associates will give you a ten-day obligation-free trial of the Magnum Opus data mining software, subject to a couple of conditions:

• You accept the License Agreement.
• You are evaluating the product on behalf of an organization and use an email address provided by that organization. (We will not make your email address available to any other organization.)
• If the organization is an educational institution, you must be an employee.  Students may use the highly functional demo system.

The ten-day period commences from the date of issue — so make sure that your data are ready before applying for your evaluation license! Downloading instructions and an evaluation license ID will be emailed to you, normally within one working day.

The form asks for a computer name on which you will run the software. This name is  important because, if it is incorrect, the license ID we send you will not work. We cannot re-issue evaluation license IDs.

• On Linux systems the computer name is obtained by the command "hostname".
• On Windows 2000/XP it appears under the "Computer Name" or "Network Identification" tab of the "System" icon in the Control Panel.
• For Windows Vista, click "Start", "Computer", and "Properties" to see the computer name.

Note, each time Magnum Opus is run using an evaluation license ID it will connect to giwebb.com for validation.  No information is passed to giwebb.com during this process.  The license ID can only be validated if an internet connection is available.
